Teaching and Mentoring Programs
Throughout the year, we offer in-person discussion groups to be paired with popular Massive Open Online Courses (MOOCs) on teaching. The most common are those offered by the Center for the Integration of Research, Teaching and Learning (CIRTL) on STEM teaching. These discussion groups allow particpants to enjoy a "flipped" experience of the MOOC, where content is studied independently, and in-person time is used for discussion and deepening the learning experience.
