Each of us has a unique way of communicating with others. Understanding your natural communication style and how to best adapt it to effectively communicate with others is an important part of building and maintaining strong mentoring relationships.

In this session, you will identify your communication style and how it shapes the way you approach professional interactions. You will also practice strategies for communicating with mentees with different communication styles. The skills you develop through these discussions and interactive exercises can help you strengthen any collaborative working relationship.

Facilitators: Anthony Venida and Debra Van Egeren, Postdoc Peer Mentoring Coaches

Mentoring Mondays are open to postdocs from all disciplines. Lunch will be provided.
