Ethical awareness in research is the cornerstone of scientific integrity and credibility. Prioritizing ethical practices allows researchers to prevent misconduct like data fabrication or selective reporting, safeguarding trust between researchers and society.

In this session, you will learn about the repercussions surrounding academic misconduct and discuss/practice having conversations about difficult situations in ethical research data management. This session will help you develop skills centered around ethical violations and reinforce the importance of cultivating a mindset where integrity takes precedence over pressure to publish.

Facilitators: Debra Van Egeren, Maria Jose Medrano Matamoros, and Anthony Venida, Postdoc Peer Mentoring Coaches.

Mentoring Lunches are open to postdocs from all disciplines. Lunch will be provided.
