Have you ever had your mentee ask no questions and be confident they understand a concept or protocol, only to find out later there were major gaps in understanding or implementation?
In this workshop, we will brainstorm strategies to assess your mentees' understanding of core concepts and processes, practice methods for assessing understanding in small groups, as well as identify reasons for lack of understanding and miscommunication in mentor-mentee relationships.

Mentoring Lunches are open to postdocs from all disciplines. Lunch will be provided.
