How can we make progress on big writing projects in stressful times?
This cross-disciplinary workshop will begin with goal setting and move through strategies to plan your project, motivate yourself to write, and measure your progress to stay on track, and remind yourself how far you’ve come. We will look at methods to get the most out of digital writing and time management tools, and discuss alternative writing and planning platforms, such as Scrivner and the Kindle app.
With a focus on self-care as part of the writing process, you'll walk away with a plan for writing with balance that you can apply to future writing projects. Come with your writing goals and an upcoming or current project to plan.
Workshop Facilitator: Dr. Katherine Rothschild, Lecturer, Program in Writing and Rhetoric
