Faculty Job Search: Recent Successful Faculty Job Seekers Panel

This event is part of series:

May 23, 2023 - 12:00pm to 1:20pm
Chris Golde

Good advice and up-to-date information about the faculty job search comes from those who have just successfully completed a search.

All members of this panel of current Stanford PhDs and Postdocs have concluded the faculty job search during 2022-23 and have received at least one job offer. Some have juggled several competing offers. Come hear them give you the full picture:

  • What made their written materials stand out?
  • What were the campus interviews like?
  • How did they negotiate?
  • What was the most unexpected thing that happened to them?
  • What advice do they have for you?

Come with your questions! We will field general questions.
