Does this position pay above the required minimum?: 
No. The expected base pay for this position is the Stanford University required minimum for all postdoctoral scholars appointed through the Office of Postdoctoral Affairs. The FY27 minimum is $79, 056.

The Dai Lab (Intelligent Image-Guided Intervention Lab) in the Department of Radiation Oncology at Stanford University is seeking multiple Postdoctoral Scholars to develop next-generation AI and imaging technologies for image-guided interventions and precision radiation oncology.

Position 1: AI for Medical Imaging (1-2)

Applicants with expertise in one or more of the following areas are encouraged to apply:

* Foundation Models
* Agentic AI
* Reinforcement Learning
* Medical Image Analysis

Position 2: Intelligent Imaging Systems (1-2)

Applicants with backgrounds in Ultrasound/Photoacoustic Imaging are especially encouraged to apply. Experience with imaging system development is preferred but not required.

Required Qualifications: 
  • Ph.D. in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Medical Physics, Mathematics, or a related field.
  • Strong publication record and programming skills.
