Does this position pay above the required minimum?: 
No. The expected base pay for this position is the Stanford University required minimum for all postdoctoral scholars appointed through the Office of Postdoctoral Affairs. The FY25 minimum is $76,383.

We are seeking a postdoctoral fellow to work on cutting-edge single-cell and spatial-omics research. The ideal fellow will be interested in developing and applying novel computational algorithms to novel datasets generated in the setting of non-neoplastic and neoplastic disease. 

Key responsibilities include: (1) Conduct computational methods development and analysis for systems-level understanding of host-immune responses to diseases. (2) Collaborate effectively with a team of multidisciplinary scientists. (3) Participate in regular collaborative meetings (zoom, hybrid or in-person) across multiple sites. (4) Publish findings in peer-reviewed journals and present at international conferences. (5) Contribute to the development of grant proposals.

Required Qualifications: 

Qualifications:

  • PhD in Computational Biology, Biostatistics, Computer Science, Immunology, Molecular Biology, or a related field.

  • Strong background in computational analysis and immunological studies.

  • Experience with data analysis for single-cell or spatial methods is highly desirable.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
