No. The expected base pay for this position is the Stanford University required minimum for all postdoctoral scholars appointed through the Office of Postdoctoral Affairs. The FY27 minimum is $79, 056.

The Valdez Lab at Stanford University is seeking a motivated Postdoctoral Fellow to develop liposome-based drug delivery platforms for the treatment and imaging of infectious and inflammatory diseases. The project will focus on liposome formulation, surface functionalization, drug/probe loading, physicochemical characterization, and evaluation in relevant in vitro and in vivo models.

The successful candidate will work within a multidisciplinary team integrating nanomedicine, molecular imaging, chemistry, microbiology, and translational research.

The position provides an opportunity to develop new targeted delivery technologies with a clear path toward preclinical and clinical translation.

Required Qualifications: 
  • PhD in pharmaceutical sciences, chemistry, chemical engineering, biomedical engineering, nanotechnology, or a related field. 
  • Prior experience with liposome/lipid nanoparticle formulation and characterization is strongly preferred.
