Our research team is seeking a postdoctoral scholar interested in cardiovascular and cardiac surgery outcomes research and predictive analytics using advanced statistical and machine learning methods applied to large claims and electronic health record databases and multimodal data, including physiological waveforms and medical imaging.
We foster a collaborative and inclusive environment in which postdoctoral scholars have opportunities to lead independent projects, mentor junior team members, and contribute to multidisciplinary research. The principal investigator is an experienced mentor committed to supporting the scholar’s development toward a career as an independent investigator. Our group collaborates extensively with researchers across disciplines and institutions, offering broad opportunities for scientific growth, mentorship, and professional development.
- Doctoral degree (PhD, MD, or equivalent) conferred by start date
- Demonstrated experience with analysis of large health databases
- Demonstrated experience with applying advanced machine learning methods to multimodal data
- Demonstrated strong technical writing skills
- Experience with grant writing is preferred but not required
