Combining mass spectrometry-based proteomics and metabolomics, data science, and mechanistic biology to define the function and druggability of proteins.

We are seeking a postdoctoral candidate with expertise in mass spectrometry and molecular metabolism. Additional expertise in one or more of the following areas is a BIG PLUS: data science (machine learning and AI), cancer biology, animal physiology, organic chemistry, E3-ubiquitin biology, and gene editing. In all cases, applicants with a strong track record of publications in high-quality international journals are especially encouraged to apply.

The candidate will contribute to one of the following projects:

1. Using mass spectrometry approaches to elucidate molecular mechanisms of metabolic rewiring underlying cancer and aging.

2. Developing activity-based proteome profiling (ABPP) strategies to guide the development of chemical leads that target undrugged proteins or proteins prone to drug resistance.

3. Combining mass spectrometry with genetic perturbations to mechanistically define protein function.

4. Developing automation strategies for large-scale proteomics and metabolomics.
