The Endocrine Oncology Lab is seeking an ambitious and meticulous postdoctoral scholar who cares deeply about advancing translational science and working on collaborative projects that have the potential to impact patient care. We welcome candidates who are passionate, curious, self-motivated and directed, and who are excited to tackle difficult research questions with creativity, rigor, and persistence.
Our lab is focused on mechanistic and translational studies in endocrine cancers. The two main areas of investigation are: 1) the identification of molecular pathways that govern endocrine cancer initiation and progression and the characterization of the function of these altered genes/pathways using in vitro and in vivo models, and 2) the discovery of therapeutic targets and novel anticancer agents for endocrine cancers.
• PhD in cancer biology, cell biology, molecular biology, bioengineering, or a closely related field.
• Experience driving an independent research project toward publication.
• Excellent experimental reasoning, good communication skills in English, and a collaborative working style.
• Professionalism, strong interpersonal skills, and a willingness to mentor and support other lab members.
