The Einav Lab at Stanford University School of Medicine invites applications for highly creative and motivated Postdoctoral Fellows with background in Immunology and/or Virology.
We have positions for postdoctoral scholars interested in two distinct areas:
1. Understanding the pathogenesis of emerging viral infections in humans and discovering novel biomarkers and drug targets to predict and prevent severe disease.
• Must have a PhD and be a good team player.
• Experience with the innate and/or adaptive immune systems.
(Experience in systems immunology is not a must.)
2. Studying the roles of various cellular machineries in the life cycle of emerging viruses (flaviviruses, coronaviruses, alphaviruses) and as targets for broad-spectrum antiviral strategies.
• Must have a PhD and be a good team player.
• Experience with molecular virology, cell biology (ideally intracellular membrane trafficking), biochemistry, and/or drug discovery.
