Does this position pay above the required minimum?: 
No. The expected base pay for this position is the Stanford University required minimum for all postdoctoral scholars appointed through the Office of Postdoctoral Affairs. The FY24 minimum is $71,650.

We have an exciting opportunity for a post-doctoral fellow who has an interest in translational research in retinal or choroidal angiogenesis. Our laboratory works on models of human disease associated with abnormal retinal or choroidal angiogenesis. We use molecular biology, genetic models in mice, cell culture and study signaling mechanisms related to angiogenesis, employing pharmaceutical and gene therapy approaches. We also work with lasers, image capturing, and analysis. We would like someone with experience with animal tests and studies conducted using a variety of methods, including but not limited to animal testing, etc.

Required Qualifications: 

• PhD or MD
• Proficient English skills
• Record required of first author publication published or accepted for publication demonstrated relevant skills and expertise.
