Postdocs in the Moding Lab receive training and experience in preclinical and translational cancer research. The Moding Lab analyzes human samples using a combination of state-of the-art computational and experimental techniques to identify critical mediators of treatment resistance that can be validated in preclinical models and targeted to enhance the efficacy of cancer therapy. Our ultimate goal is to translate our findings to the clinic to improve the outcomes of patients with cancer. We are currently seeking a postdoctoral fellow with wet lab experience to establish cell line and genetically engineered mouse models for functional validation, mechanistic experiments, and testing novel therapies. Postdocs will also gain experience with genomic and transcriptomic analyses of human samples, including circulating tumor DNA analysis. We are a growing, supportive, and inclusive research group whose top priority is the success of our trainees. Postdocs will have robust opportunities to perform interdisciplinary research, apply for research funding, and establish a network of connections across diverse fields.
