Often, postdoctoral instructors receive little guidance on what terms such as diversity, equity, and inclusion mean or how to implement these ideas in your mentoring or teaching practice. Instead, fearing that they will 'get it wrong,' many instructors avoid engaging with issues of diversity and inclusion altogether. In this workshop, we break down these terms to create a shared language around diversity, inclusion, equality, and equity, and discuss strategies for inclusion.
