DESAI FAMILY POSTDOCTORAL RESEARCH FELLOWSHIP, Stanford University, Department of Philosophy.
 
The Department of Philosophy invites applications for the Desai Family Postdoctoral Research Fellowship.  The successful candidate will pursue research and teach two, ten-week courses per year.  The initial appointment is for one year with the possibility of renewal for a second year subject to satisfactory performance.
 
We seek candidates with exceptional promise specializing in any area of philosophy. 
 
 We are interested in candidates who, through their research, teaching, and service, will contribute to the diversity and excellence of the academic community. We seek applications from members of groups that have been historically underrepresented in Philosophy, including women, members of minority groups, veterans, persons with disabilities, and others who would bring additional dimensions to the university's research and teaching mission.

Required Qualifications: 
  • Candidates should have a Ph.D. in philosophy or a related field and should not have held the degree for more than three years prior to September 1, 2022.
