The Radiological Sciences Laboratory (https://med.stanford.edu/rsl.html) located in the Stanford University Department of Radiology Lucas Center for Medical Imaging has an opening for a postdoctoral researcher with expertise in magnetic resonance (MR) physics and imaging.  The new team member will be joining a highly multidisciplinary research group and will work on the development and translation of multinuclear MR imaging and spectroscopic techniques for the in vivo assessment of metabolism.  The project will involve small animal imaging studies using a combination of 1H, 2H, and 13C MRI/MRS, with the ideal candidate having experience on a Bruker system.  Excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a group setting are very important.  The appointment is for 1 year, renewable for 2-3 years total.

Required Qualifications: 
  • Applicants should have a PhD in MR physics are a related field
  • Experience with small animal imaging
