We are looking for a creative post-doc who enjoys working in a collabroative multi-disciplinary environment  to investigate the molecular/cellular and biomechanical basis of human cardiomyopathies. We utilize a unique multi-scale approach to understanding the basis by which myosin mutations alter cardiomyocyte structure, mechanobiology and metabolism and lead to the clinical phenotypes of .hypertrophic and dilated cardiomyopathy. We utilize various platforms, including CRISPR-edited hiPSC-cardiomyocytes and human heart samples, microengineered culture systems for assessment of cellular biomechanics,  multi-omics (transcriptome, metabolome, lipidome), and high-throughput analysis of single-cell mitochondrial function.
