The Stanford Halpern Lab is looking to hire a Computer Scientist/Signal Processor!

The specific position being filled is for a signal processor to help develop and implement intracranial and scalp electrophysiological analytic methodology, and centralize analytic pipelines within the lab. This position will specifically call for the development of analytics to investigate invasive electrophysiolosy as it relates to scalp EEG, behavior, and symptomotology.
  
Must be able to work within matlab and bash coding languages, and have familiarity in EEGLab and Fieldtrip matlab-based analytic toolboxes. Experience in applying machine learning algorithms to answer targeted signal processing questions preferred. Experience in analyzing wearable psychophysiological data (accelerometer, eye-tracking, pupil responses, skin conductance, etc) synchronized to neural data preferred. Background in human behavior and neurosciences preferred but not necessary.

Required Qualifications: 
  • Doctoral degree conferred on or before appointment start date.
  • Must be able to work within matlab and bash coding languages, and have familiarity in EEGLab and Fieldtrip matlab-based analytic toolboxes.
  • Must have experience working with neural signal, either scalp or invasive electrophysiology
  • Experience in applying machine learning algorithms to answer targeted signal processing questions preferred.
  • Experience in analyzing wearable psychophysiological data (accelerometer, eye-tracking, pupil responses, skin conductance, etc) synchronized to neural data preferred.
  • Background in human behavior and neurosciences preferred but not necessary.
