TAL Category for GFS Aid Year Activation for the transition quarter when a Stanford PhD graduate becomes a Postdoc
- Allows for the transition of a Stanford student from a graduate student to postdoc in the middle of a quarter
- The department can enter postdoc pay lines and graduate student pay in the same quarter
- Postdoc tuition is suppressed for that quarter; graduate student tuition is charged. Unapplied Aid will result if $125 is paid for GRPD quarter!!
Adjusting Aid Year Activation
1. Student finishes PhD degree at Stanford on January 14th
2. Begins postdoc appointment on February 1st
3. Continues as a postdoc through the rest of the year
