As non-matriculated graduate students, postdoctoral scholars have the following privileges and benefits:
Stanford
University Postdoctoral Scholar I.D. Card
enrollment
in postdoctoral scholar group health insurance plans or with Cardinal
Care (through Vaden Health Center)
authorized
to purchase parking stickers
use
of University libraries, including Lane Medical Library
auditing
courses without charge with the instructor's permission
a
certificate of training certifying the scholar's training at Stanford
access
to University athletic facilities
student-rate
tickets for athletic and cultural events
student
housing (although non-matriculated students receive the lowest priority).
Housing facilities are sufficiently limited that scholars should
not expect to obtain campus housing. Scholars have high priority at the
Stanford West housing on Sand Hill Road

of Career Planning and Placement Center
