Practical Course on Molecular Biology Techniques

Goals and Objectives

The PRECEPT Practical Course on Molecular Biology is a rapid "hands on" introduction to biomedical research procedures designed for Postdoctoral Fellows at Stanford University School of Medicine. More than thirty current molecular biology protocols were selected as pertinent, and will be described. Course participants will have the opportunity to practice all key procedures under direct supervision. Upon course completion, each participant should be able to independently perform basic DNA, RNA and protein analyses.

Registration is accpeted on a first come-first served basis until class is full. Enrollment will be limited to 30, and preference will be given to MDs in their first years of fellowship.
